Tree Capital is a market bot for Discord and Telegram, with its website at chart.tree.news, run by Tree News (tree.news). This page says what the bot reads, what it keeps, how long, and who else sees it.

What the bot reads

In servers and groups it is added to, the bot reads messages in the channels it can see, and acts only on:

commands, such as fc btc 4h, and shortcuts you saved
messages that tag the bot, and direct messages to it
replies under the bot's own messages: answers, its questions to you, and your alerts
a token contract address posted on its own, to show that token's card (server admins can turn this off)

Any other message is read only to see whether it is one of these, and is not stored or sent anywhere.

Stored data

Only what it needs to work for you and to stop abuse:

Information	Duration
Your Discord or Telegram id and username, with each command	30 days
Commands you run, with the server or group you ran them in	30 days
Questions you ask the AI assistant, with the message you asked it under	30 days
Alerts and reminders you set	Until you remove them
Your settings and shortcuts	Until you remove them
Your Pushover key, and the devices you turn notifications on for	Until you remove them
Your chart.tree.news sign-in: your Discord username, avatar and the servers you manage, or your Telegram account	30 days after your last sign-in

Everything is kept on servers we run. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

AI providers: the text of a question or a message meant for the bot, so it can be answered with our full trained database and tools.
Pushover and your browser's notification service: the alerts you send there.
Market data providers: the tickers, tokens and wallets you ask about.

Your choices

Remove your alerts, reminders, settings, shortcuts, Pushover key and devices yourself, in the bot or on chart.tree.news.
Server admins choose which roles can use the bot and can turn token cards off on chart.tree.news.
